“ The food was amazing! I got the Pastor nachos, the meat had a nice smoky flavor and the jalapeno added a little sweetness cause I was expecting it to be spicy but it wasn’t! I did originally order a mango margarita but I think there was a switch up at the bar and I got the wrong drink, but it’s ok cause the one I got was hitting girl!! Andre was my server and he was very sweet and attentive loved the atmosphere and there was a sweet kitty to accompany me ”

On our drive into town, we noticed several signs for La Taqueria, and the consistent advertising stuck in my mind—so we decided to give it a try for dinner. We’re so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, we loved the vibe. The whole space is open-air, shaded, and thoughtfully designed with fans to keep the air moving—perfect for a humid Tulum evening. It had that perfect mix of local charm and comfort. We started with their sparkling lemonade, which was super refreshing. For dinner, I ordered the pastor tacos, and my wife had the grilled shrimp tacos. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Service was friendly and attentive, and prices felt very fair for the quality of food and experience. Their slogan, “In tacos, we trust,” couldn’t have been more fitting—La Taqueria absolutely delivered. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic tacos and a relaxing outdoor atmosphere in Tulum! ”
“ We got the 12 seafood tacos for 4 of us- perfect to try a few bites of everything. The shrimp taco was the best!!! And don’t skip the octopus. Mezcalitas were delicious and refreshing, 2-for-1 on happy hour! Andre was our server and he was so friendly, attentive and helpful. Go get some tacos and cocktails here!!! ”
“ The tacos were fantastic!!! Pictured is the seafood platter tacos it included fish, shrimp, octopus. Chips and salsa options were great of course it went on the tacos The 2 for 1 was a deal only tried the lemon lime marg and a mango it was good choice as well. The pina colada on the rocks was chefs kiss thank me later. The seating was slightly open covered layout with a few stores attached. There were fans out but a mini fan could help on hotter days. I’d recommend or return. Eli was a great help and service was awesome. There was another location we spotted near the beach this was located in la Valeta. ”
